Studio Background
About the Studio
For journalists, booksellers, and editorial partners.
Lantern & Ink is a mystery publishing studio creating designed printable detective cases for readers who want more than a puzzle to complete. Each case is built around a setting, a cast of suspects, and a fair-play investigation supported by tactile documents, evidence pages, and archival design. The studio treats every case as a collectible literary artifact: something to print, spread across a table, solve closely, and keep on a shelf after the answer is found. Its work sits between classic detective fiction, prop design, and quiet editorial publishing. The aim is not speed or spectacle, but a mystery that feels considered, physical, and worth returning to.
Official Boilerplate
Lantern & Ink is a mystery publishing studio creating designed printable detective cases for thoughtful solvers. Each case is written as a literary investigation and designed as a collectible artifact, combining fair-play mystery structure with tactile evidence documents, archival typography, and a restrained editorial voice. The studio's cases are made to be printed, solved at the table, kept on a shelf, and revisited. Lantern & Ink sells printable case files through Etsy while maintaining its website as the studio's editorial home and archive.
